It's Snowing - Drive Safe

Winter came and with it came snow and freezing problems. That means problems for drivers who were not properly trained for this season. Because of reckless drivers, in this period, many accidents occur due to unsuitable speed to road conditions but also because of failure to keep the safe traffic distances. In this season, especially when the snow appears you should be driving at low speed to keep safe distance between you and other cars. Try to avoid hard braking as much as possible and try to use as much as you can the engine braking. In conditions of heavy snow fall is recommended not to travel by personal car, but if possible to use public transportation. Thus allowing the authorities to work more easily to clear snow from the road. Be careful on cold days when frost occurs. This situation can become a real ice rink on roads leading to multiple accidents. Drive with caution and if possible try not to make sudden maneuvers that may lead to drifting.
When you are starting a journey check: that you have a full tank, keep in the trunk scraper, broom and shovel for exceptional cases, plus it is recommended that you always have snow chains in the trunk.
With extra attention we will get over this season without having some unpleasant events in traffic.
Below you can see what Nick Heidfeld Nick driving the BMW Sauber F1 car on ice over a frozen lake. Enjoy!
